3 Steps To Cultivate The Transformative Power of Love

“At the risk of sounding too philosophical here; when it comes down to it, love is what we truly are”

James Duigan

Mark Twain quote on the power of purpose

It’s February and everywhere you turn, you might be reminded that it’s the month of love. There are a million different things to buy and do out there to show your love to others. But, love is so much more than items and experiences. Love starts with you, within you.

The most powerful thing you can do for yourself is to love yourself and we promise you all the rest will eventually follow. Accept yourself just as you naturally and truly are, and you will remove any limitations, boundaries that stop you from being your best self. Instead, you’ll be living your truth – saying yes to what feels right and no to what doesn’t. This is love; having things in your life that serve you and lovingly letting go of what doesn’t.

It’s easy to get caught up in having to look or be a certain way as we scroll through social media, but really, all you need to do is be you. No one else in the world is like you and that’s your superpower. So love yourself in a healthy way and transform your life to make it fit who you are, rather than making yourself fit into a life that doesn’t feel right. With this, you can share your true gifts with the world.

We dare you to love and be you all through this month. Then watch what happens.

3 Simple Ways to Cultivate The Transformative power of Love

Connect with your truth by tuning into you and your inner voice of wisdom by spending 10 minutes with yourself in silence each morning. Use the Meditation app called Insight Timer for guided meditations or for a timer with a gentle, loving sound.

Although it may not seem like it at first, saying no is sometimes the most loving thing you can do. If something doesn’t feel right, respect yourself and the person next to you enough to speak the truth. Living the truth will always lead to love.

Practise following through on what feels right and what the truth is to you. Rather than allowing your mind or fear determine your actions, speak your truth and share your time, wisdom and gifts that come from the heart with the world. Let love be the leading force.
